Geena Davis revealed that an A-list actor hated Brad Pitt as a result of he was jealous that Pitt landed the position of “Thelma & Louise” forward of him.
On an episode of “The Graham Norton Present,” Davis, who starred alongside Susan Sarandon within the 1991 Ridley Scott flick, recalled Pitt’s audition to play her love curiosity JD.
“Every of them had been very good-looking,” said the “A League of Their Own” star of the 4 actors studying for the position.
“All of them had brown hair and had been very proficient. I didn’t care who it was going to be. Then the fourth one is available in, and it’s Brad Pitt. He’s so charismatic and so extremely proficient that I used to be screwing up his audition.”
Davis shared that she was so taken with the blonde hunk that she forgot her line — however she gave him her endorsement for the position.
She didn’t know the opposite JD hopefuls on the time, however they had been Mark Ruffalo and Grand Present from “Melrose Place.”
She had an opportunity encounter with the fourth candidate on a flight from Europe to Los Angeles.
“This gentleman was very pleasant and nice,” she recalled.
“And at last he mentioned, ‘You recognize, I hate Brad Pitt.’ I mentioned, ‘No, you don’t — he’s, like, a very good good friend of yours.’ He mentioned, ‘No, I hate him as a result of he received the half.’ ”
“I mentioned, ‘Oh, did you need the half?’ And he mentioned, ‘You couldn’t inform once I auditioned with you?’ And it was George Clooney.”
Clearly, time softened Clooney’s hatred of the hunk as a result of the pair went on to grow to be nice buddies, starring collectively in “Ocean’s Eleven” franchise and “Burn After Studying.”
And in a September interview with Vogue, he referred to as the ER star “probably the most good-looking man on the planet.”
