As governor’s race hits homestretch, candidates stay on message — Hochul on abortion and Zeldin on crime

The tough-on-crime Republican challenger additionally slammed state insurance policies that allowed an upstate SUNY campus to ask a Black Panther convicted of killing two cops to talk at an April symposium.

“They really present a platform for cop killers to return preach to college students, claiming that they’re a political prisoner,” Zeldin mentioned.

Zeldin refused to touch upon the advert on Wednesday.
