NEW YORK — A workforce from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is in New York to analyze the primary polio case within the nation in a decade.
A Rockland County resident who’s unvaccinated examined optimistic for polio in July.

Because the case was reported, the virus has been detected in wastewater samples in Rockland County and nearby Orange County.
State well being officers are urging anybody who has not been vaccinated for the polio virus to take action instantly.
The CDC workforce may also assist with outreach and vaccinations.
