NEW YORK — Vice President Kamala Harris was in Brooklyn on Thursday to debate the administration’s funding in underserved communities and small companies.
Harris toured the Bedford-Stuyvesant Restoration Company Financial Options Heart and introduced greater than 20 private-sector organizations are becoming a member of the administration to extend alternative in low-income communities.
“These organizations with us will make investments tens of billions of {dollars} to offer capital to group lenders, to assist entrepreneurship, specifically for women-owned and minority-owned companies,” Harris mentioned.
Thursday night, the vp is attending a fundraising occasion in Suffolk County.
