NEW YORK – The depositions of former President Donald Trump and two of his kids had been delayed Friday on account of the death of his former wife Ivana Trump.
Attorney General Letitia James is conducting a civil investigation into the Trump Organization, and whether or not it inflated the values of its holdings to get advantages like loans, insurance coverage and extra.
Trump, Donald Trump, Jr. and Ivanka Trump had been set to start answering questions under oath as quickly as Friday.
James’ workplace mentioned it was delaying the questioning on account of Ivana Trump’s dying Thursday.
No new date for questioning has been introduced.
Trump has denied the allegations, saying the investigation is a part of an ongoing “witch hunt” towards him.
