NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – New York State Senator Alessandra Biaggi has introduced she is operating for Congress.
The Democrat made the announcement on Twitter Monday morning, saying she’s operating “to carry progressive and sincere management to the entrance traces of our nation’s most essential fights.”
I went to Albany to interrupt the gridlock of NY politics. Since then we’ve had a prolific collection of progressive wins like codifying Roe and increasing voting rights.
I’m able to carry that very same power and resolve to Washington, and convey the voices of NYers on the Sound with me.

Biaggi represents New York’s thirty fourth district, which incorporates the northern Bronx and southern Westchester County.
She hopes to interchange Tom Suozzi, who’s now running for governor.
