NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Organ donation inquiries have elevated because the announcement that NYPD Det. Wilbert Mora‘s remaining present to New York was the present of life.
The 27-year-old’s selfless final want modified the lives of individuals desperately ready for transplants.

The nonprofit group LiveOn NY, who assisted in Mora’s donations, launched the next assertion —
“5 individuals who have been ready for a coronary heart, liver, two kidneys and pancreas have been saved … Three people in New York and two individuals exterior the state of New York acquired life-saving organ transplants from Officer Mora. We’re humbled and honored to be the steward of those presents on behalf of Officer Mora and his household so others could stay on.”
