OSWEGO, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — An upstate district legal professional has determined to not pursue prison expenses towards former Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
It marked the final of 5 district attorneys who had been investigating sexual misconduct allegations towards Cuomo, CBS2’s Dick Brennan reported Monday.
The choice basically ends the prison investigation towards the previous governor with no expenses filed.
Gregory Oakes, the DA from Oswego County, who probed allegations from one lady of undesirable sexual contact with Cuomo, outlined in a report by Legal professional Common Letitia James.
Virginia Limmiatis mentioned Cuomo touched her inappropriately when greeting her at a conservation occasion in 2017. Throughout a deposition by the Legal professional Common’s Workplace, she claimed Cuomo ran his fingers over her shirt.

In a press release, Cuomo’s spokesman mentioned, partly, “What a farce this has been from the start. Not one of the accusations in Tish James’ fraud of a report have stood as much as any degree of actual scrutiny.”
Whereas different girls have made allegations of inappropriate conduct by Cuomo, district attorneys in 5 counties, Nassau, Manhattan, Westchester, Albany, and now Oswego, have declined to press expenses towards Cuomo.
The previous governor has denied all of the allegations.

Whereas the prison investigations are apparently over, the authorized challenges aren’t. Cuomo might be going through civil fits from a few of his accusers.
