NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Well being care employees at two New York Metropolis hospitals are getting some much-needed help.

Navy medical groups arrived Monday at Coney Island Hospital to offer the workers a break.

“I believe, particularly for the previous two years, there’s burnout,” Ashley David instructed CBS2’s Natalie Duddridge.

David, a nurse, was visiting her personal father within the hospital. She mentioned working nonstop all through the pandemic has been exhausting.

“We want psychological assist, we’d like emotional assist,” she mentioned.

COVID VACCINE

CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC
