NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Mayor Eric Adams is vowing to roll out a brand new plan to attempt to curb gun violence and enhance security within the metropolis.
“Instantly, we’re going to scale back it to a more recent model of in plainclothes, modified plainclothes, Anti-Gun Unit. I talked about this on the marketing campaign path. Our workforce has achieved the right evaluation, and now we’re going to deploy that and also you’re going to see a visual presence in our subway system,” Adams stated.

Mayor Adams stated he plans to “flood” the subway system with psychological well being professionals.
