A British educational needs Fb to pay greater than $3 billion in damages to the social community’s 44 million customers in the UK for alleged breach of the nation’s competitors legal guidelines.

Regulators stated that knowledge from not less than 1 million British customers — and 87 million customers worldwide — had been harvested and used for political functions.

Gormsen is a senior analysis fellow in competitors regulation on the British Institute of Worldwide and Comparative Legislation.

In 2019, she co-authored a tutorial paper entitled “Fb’s Anticompetitive Lean in Methods.”
