CHATHAM, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — We’ve been telling you concerning the emergency blood shortage that’s now at a disaster stage.

CBS2’s Cindy Hsu spoke to a New Jersey household concerning the lifesaving have to donate.

The DiMaggio household has been holding blood drives for a number of years in honor of Michael, who’s now 18 and a freshman in faculty.

At 11 years outdated, Michael was hit by a automotive strolling house from college in Chatham and barely survived.
