WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — Westchester County has seen COVID hospitalization numbers greater than double over the previous few weeks, prompting County Government George Latimer to challenge what he referred to as a state of emergency.
“The hospitalization variety of 84 has come up within the final month. At a month in the past, we had been at 29 individuals hospitalized to COVID. Now, we’re at 84. That is a rise within the variety of individuals hospitalized,” Latimer mentioned Monday.
The state of emergency declared over the hospitalizations doesn’t embrace any further mandates proper now.
