STAMFORD, Conn. (CBSNewYork) — A public swearing-in ceremony might be held Wednesday for the brand new mayor of Stamford, Connecticut.
Caroline Simmons was sworn-in throughout a non-public ceremony simply after midnight.
She is the primary lady elected to function mayor of the state’s second-largest metropolis.
The previous consultant beat out former New York Mets supervisor Bobby Valentine in a close race last month.
