TRENTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — It seems like New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy’s revenue took a big hit throughout the pandemic.
In line with his tax returns, his earnings dropped to about $93,000 in 2020.
That’s 63% lower than the 12 months earlier than when his gross revenue was about $2.7 million.
His workplace didn’t say why his revenue had dipped a lot.
As governor, his wage is $175,000, and far of his revenue comes from investments.
The lack of revenue means he received’t should pay the so-called millionaires tax he signed into regulation final 12 months.
